Dancer’s Perform Community Service with World Record Perform-A-Thon

Dear BCCA Instructors and Students

On Saturday, February 14, 2004, National Performing Arts Day, thousands of dance instructors and students across the United States will be attempting to set a World Record for the most people performing in one hour simultaneously across the country. The BCCA will be representing our city during this historic event, and we will also be raising money for Project Action to fight juvenile crime and get more children involved in Performing Arts Programs.

Project Action Foundation is a national award-winning children’s charity whose mission is to prevent juvenile crime by providing disadvantaged and “at-risk” children the opportunity to become involved in physical, cultural and performing arts programs. Your tax-deductible donation will be used to sponsor scholarship and special programs for children in need as a new initiative of BCCA.
