Join us for our busiest weekend ever!
Once you're
done exploring, you might
sing "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." Indeed there is
something for everyone as March's excitement reaches
a climax with an unforgettable lineup of events and
workshops for all ages.
Art opening tonight, Thursday, March 25, 9:00
pm: The Collective Conscious presents "Legions -
A Selection of Our Paintings and Drawings" by Barrington S. Edwards. Mr.
Edwards will be presenting his diverse collection
throughout our two floors. Show dates are March 5 -
May 6.
Special Notice: We have revised and expanded
our Summer Arts Program schedule to offer
a wider variety of classes for more age groups,
including full-day options. Register now to reserve your
spot.

Workshops & Funk Fest with the legendary Bopping Andre |
|
Don't miss this phenomenal 9-Hour workshop with Funk
masters Bopping Andre and Madd Cadd. Learn the
elusive urban dance styles of Bopping, Robot,
Animation, Strobing, 3D, Sinbad, Hitting, Popping,
Dimestopping, and much more!!
Friday, March 26, 6 - 9 pm
Saturday, March 27, 1:30 - 4:30 pm
Sunday, March 28, 11 am - 2 pm
$12 per 1-hour class
The Saturday workshops will be followed by Funk Fest -
a dance party with showcases by Bopping Andre, Madd
Cadd, Tron, 3-D, and other guest artists.
Saturday, March 27, 10:30 pm - 2 am. $10
admission.

Havana Club's New KidsDay at the BCCA!!! |
|
Every Saturday is KidsDay with Havana Club at the
BCCA!!! Free for children ages 6-12, KidsDay
will feature a Salsa lesson from 1:00-2:00 pm, taught
by Juliana Melo, followed by an open dance from 2:00-
4:15 pm.
In a few weeks, we will be joined by
the MIT Casino Rueda Group, who will teach a Rueda
lesson and add a big brother/sister dimension to the
afternoon.
Teens and adults are welcome to
come and enjoy the social dance ($5) and a separate
lesson ($10 with dance).

Salsa Workshop and Dance with Yamulee |

Direct from New York, DJ Hernan with SalsaBoston
brings renowned Salsa dance troupe "Yamulee" to
Boston for an afternoon of workshops and an evening
of dancing and performances, in a special edition of
BCCA's Noche de Salsa, Saturday, March 27!
Evening performance with Yamulee, and also for the
first time in Boston, "Salsa con Clase" and "Comenzar de
Nuevo". Featuring live music entertainment.
