of our usual crowd pleasers.
Remember, our events are all-ages. So bring your grandparent, child,
friend, loved one, or any other person with whom you've been meaning to

Featured Classes
Keep the winter blues at bay with some high energy classes. Where else
but at the BCCA can you take a powerful taikko
drumming class in the Samurai warrior tradition? And our Low-Impact
Latin Dance Workout, Kickboxing
class, Jazz Funk
Dance, and Savoy
Swing Jazz for Beginners, along with Swing/Jitterbug
for Beginners, will keep your body moving. And starting February 25,
you can take Romantic
Ballroom class and learn to blissfully glide across the dance floor at
every social event with the coolest ballroom dances happening today.
Reduce stress and promote integration of mind, body and spirit by
taking Yang Style
Tai Chi taught by Huan Zhang, or one of the great new
classes by Roey Rose. Another way to relax tension, explore
interactive movement, and find your core is by taking Movement
& Contact Improvisation. Stretch your physical, emotional, and
mental boundaries with a yoga
class. And this Saturday, we will begin a wonderful new class -
Mindful Movements for Poise and Health (based on the Alexander
Technique) - teaching methods to regenerate your back and body alignment.

If this resembles anything like our Halloween Break Bash, you are in

Perform-A-Thon Charity Event! |

Saturday, February 14, is National
Performing Arts Day. Thousands of dance instructors and students
across the United States will be attempting to set a World Record
for the most people performing in one hour simultaneously across the
country. The BCCA will be representing our city during this historic
event, and we will also be raising money for Project Action to fight
juvenile crime and get more children involved in Performing Arts
Programs. Saturday, February 14, 1-2:30 pm.

Israeli Folk Dance |
|
Please come for a tribute to old-time
nostalgic Israeli culture of world dance, including circle dances,
Arabic Debka's, and line dances. Our Classical
Israeli Folk Dance Soirees are promoted by SmartIsrapages and are lots
of fun. Saturday, February 21, 8 pm-12 am.
Fathers and sons can always learn past & present enchanting
melodies & dances dating back to seven generations ago by taking
a Chassidic
Dancing & Singing class.

Amnesty International Movie Event |
|
AI local
chapter Group 151 will host an evening featuring Carma
Hinton. Carma is a Director, Producer and Writer of Morning Sun,
a film surrounding the events of the Chinese Cultural Revolution
(c.1964-1976). It provides a multi-perspective view of a tumultuous
period as seen through the eyes-and reflected in the hearts and
minds-of members of the high-school generation that was born around
the time of the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949,
and that came of age in the 1960s. Carma will show excerpts from her
film followed by discussion with the audience at this Amnesty event.

Electric Playground's 1st night
was amazing! Over 100 people danced all night... and we mean DANCED!
Matty & Frank played the hott jams and packed the dance floor
non-stop for 4 hours straight. Relive the magic once again. Now
