Dear Community Friends,
You are all in for a treat! We have some
wonderful new events and some of our usual crowd
pleasers.
Remember, our events are all-ages. So
bring your grandparent, child, friend, loved
one, or any other person with whom you've been
meaning to connect. Feel free to forward this
newsletter to anyone. Have fun and expand your
horizons...all at the BCCA!
Featured Classes
Keep the winter blues at bay with some high
energy classes. Where else but at the BCCA can you
take a powerful taikko
drumming class in the Samurai warrior tradition?
And our Low-Impact
Latin Dance Workout, Kickboxing
class, Jazz
Funk Dance, and Savoy
Swing Jazz for Beginners, along with Swing/Jitterbug
for Beginners, will keep your body
moving. And starting February 25, you can take
Romantic
Ballroom class and learn to blissfully glide
across the dance floor at every social event
with the coolest ballroom dances happening today.
Reduce stress and promote integration of mind,
body and spirit by taking
Yang Style Tai Chi taught by Huan Zhang, or
one of the great new
classes by Roey Rose. Another way to
relax tension, explore interactive movement, and
find your core is by taking Movement
& Contact Improvisation. Stretch your
physical, emotional, and mental boundaries with
a yoga
class. And this
Saturday, we will begin a wonderful new class -
Mindful Movements for Poise and Health
(based on the Alexander Technique) - teaching
methods to regenerate your back and body
alignment. Call BCCA for details or to register.
