special events and once again invite you to our Spring
Open House that runs through Sunday. We've got
many new classes and returning favorites (including an
expanded kids program)
that are sure to get you moving this Spring. For a

Happy Birthday to the BCCA!
Come celebrate our one-year anniversary on
Tuesday, April 13th, with An Evening of Latin &
Swing Dance from 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. (or later...) -
hosted by Latin ballroom champions Sasha Kostic and
Olga Kinnard. The event cost is $10 and includes a
30-minute dance lesson from 10:00 - 10:30
p.m. followed by exciting dance performances, and a
social dance.

FRIDAY 4/9 - Guy Mendilow Music Concert |
|
Join us tonight for a performance of
world folk music by Guy
Mendilow, joined by Yulia Van Doren (vocals) and Andy
Bergman (flutes, sax, electric mbira, and jaw harp). The
performance will feature Mendilow's vocals and virtuoso
overtone singing set against the dark, hypnotic rhythms
of the Brazilian berimbau.
Doors open at 7:30 pm; show starts promptly at 8:00
pm. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $6 for
students.

at the door.

SATURDAY 4/10 - Snake, Shake & Pop! |

This Serpentine Night event starts off with a
workshop entitled "East Indian Hand Mudras & Arms,"
led by Tara Ahmed. There will be a
perfomance to
follow by a "cross-pollination of diverse dance
genres"including hip-hop, Indian, and Belly
dance.
